She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wessels and Jennie Wessels (Bergman); her siblings, Dale, Darrell, Stanley Wessels and Vernice Wessels; her siblings-in-law, Jolene, Sharon Wessels and Edwin Boelman; and her niece Tina Wessels Martinez.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her daughters, Constance Cambern (Russell) of Brookings, Lori Inafuku of Minnetonka, Joni Gacke (Curt) of Sioux Falls and Julie Rule (Fred III) of Sioux Falls; her siblings, Norman Wessels (Joyce) of Luverne, Enore Boelman of Luverne, Lowell Wessels of Steen, Iva Elbers (Edwin) of Luverne, Harold Wessels of Luverne, David Wessels (Beverly) of Steen and Doug Wessels (Ginny) of Hardwick; and her sisters-in-law, Theresa Wessels of Luverne and Gert Wessels of Luverne. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
