She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Thomas and Ella Thomas; her husband Edward Rueter; and her brother Robert Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Donald (RoseAnn Rueter), Mary (Tom Buhrkuhl), Martha (Gordon Fick) and John (Kathy Rueter); and her sister-in-law Norma Thomas of Seymour, Indiana.. She is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Luverne (803 N Cedar St, Luverne, MN 56156). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Maplewood Cemetery - Luverne (1242 W Warren St, Luverne, MN 56156).
