She is survived by: her husband Ben Smidstra; her son Charles Smidstra of Luverne, MN; her grandchildren, Ben Smidstra of Luverne, MN, Christina Grijalva (Jose) of Luverne, MN, Bethany Smidstra (Brandon Englert), Melissa Smidstra (Fady) of Michigan and Erin Smidstra (Jordan Jerke) of Sioux Falls; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Jurrens of Ellsworth, MN and Joe Jeffer of Luverne, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
