We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2022, at the age of 95, Lucille I. Gangestad (Luverne, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Kasemodel and Marie Kasemodel (Schmuck); her husband Emmett Gangestad; her son Dwight Gangestad; and her siblings, Alvin Kasemodel (Delores), Marvin Kasemodel (Margaret), Delmar Kasemodel (Delores), Berniece Falcowsky (Chester), Leona Wallenburg (Don), Marvella Beck (Marvin), Carol Sels (Dick) and Joyce Espittee (Phil).
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Carlson (Randy Kahl) of Rock Rapids and Kelly Gangestad (Gloria) of Gillette, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Jason Carlson, Jim Carlson (Dawn), Eric Gangestad (Lacy), Amber Gangestad, Kevin Hartz (Nikki) and Erika Menning (John); her great grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Kaylee Carlson, Mercedz Kump, Mason Carlson, Janna Read, Miyka Menning and Kaden Gangestad; her brothers, Robert Kasemodel of Escanaba and Albert Kasemodel (Marge) of Renner; and her daughter-in-law Marcia Gangestad of Luverne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials preferred to Grace Lutheran Church.
