He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ray and Beverly Mae Woodley (Erickson); his grandparents, Ray, Luella Woodley, Albin and Florence Erickson; his uncles, Verdell Lorenzen, Roger Erickson and Art Bloemendaal; his cousins, Jim Spicer and Valerie Carmody; and his nephew Chad Saarloos.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse (Natilee) of Luverne, Kyle (Nicole) of Beaver Creek and Eric (Ashley) of Luverne; his grandchildren, Elijah, Hannah, Gracyn, Emmett, Felicity, Aidan and Brody; his siblings, Nancy Wurpts (Paul) of Ellsworth, Bruce Woodley (Wanda) of Hawarden and Carol "Gertie" Oren (Dan) of Sioux Falls; his stepmother Jeanne Woodley; his stepsiblings, Mark Bittner (Shelly), Sheila Rust and Debra Raymond (Mike); his close friend Sheri Riffel; and his pets, Hershey and Brutus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
