Joyce E. Wessels Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2020, at the age of 91, Joyce E. Wessels (Luverne, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Reemts and Marie Reemts (Boelman); her son Michael Wessels; her grandson Andy Wessels; her great grandchild Lucille Sailor; her sister Dorothy Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Stanley Wessels, Darrel Wessels, Edwin Boelman, Sharon Wessels, Jolene Wessels and Phyllis Schouwenberg; and her niece Kristina Martinez.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Wessels of Luverne; her children, Linda Schoon (Dick Knapper) of Luverne and Mark Wessels (Lin) of Rock Rapids; and her sister Gladys Walker (Herman) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Luverne Dollars for Scholars Program, the Sanford Luverne Hospice Cottage, or Autism Speaks.
