It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Martin Jeffer of Luverne, Minnesota, born in Ashton, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Jeffer and Hattie Jeffer (Lyftogt); his former wife Wilma Smidstra; his sisters, Joan Van Hof and C. H. Kolleen; and his nephew Dale Vant Hof.

He is survived by: his wife Danelle Jeffer; his children, Richard Jeffer (Pam) and Rachelle VanderWaal (Mark); his grandchildren, Joey Jeffer, Kristin Mcintosh (Cory), Brady VanderWaal and Tanner VanderWaal; and his sister Hellen Nordgren (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
