He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Gorter; his grandson Nathan Wynia; and his sisters, Wilmina Kleene and Katherine Huyser. He is survived by: his former wife Lucille Wesselink; and his children, Lora Lynn Wynia (Steve), Gene Schoep (Nadine) and Bonita Schoep. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
