He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johannsen and Lillian Johannsen (Remme); his wife Bonnie Johannsen; and his sisters, Beverly Schmuck and Ivalene Schuetts.
He is survived by: his former wife Bonita Smith; his children, Mark Johannsen (Karrie) of Parker and Crystal Tiesler (Cory) of Luverne; his grandchildren, Tannin Johannsen, Bonita Tiesler, Taylor Johannsen and Madison Johannsen; his siblings, Daryle Schuetts (Esther) of Sioux Falls and David Schuetts (Dianne) of Des Moines, Iowa; and his close friend Kathy Siebenahler of Luverne.
