It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert W. Elbers (Luverne, Minnesota), who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elbers and Elizabeth Elbers (Timmer); and his wife Henrietta VandenBerg. He is survived by: his children, Kevin of Luverne, Sharla Broersma (Dean) of Sunnyside, Keith Elbers (Annette) of Hills and Kurtis Elbers (Lanette) of Steen; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Visscher (Patrick) of LeMars, Marisa McNamara (Ryan) of Chandler, Brittany Vander Schaaf (James) of Escalon, Emily Broersma of Sunnyside, Tyler Bush (Kala) of Hills, Brock Elbers of Las Vegas, Whitney, Sean and Lanae Elbers of Steen; his great grandchildren, Micah, Malachi, Maybrie Bush of Hills, Cade Visscher of LeMars and Cillian McNamara of Chandler; and his sisters, Cena Mae Tilstra (Arvin) of Steen and JoAnn Moeller of Mitchell.
