It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George John Scholten (Luverne, Minnesota), who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scholten and Alieda Scholten (Lens); and his siblings, Joseph, Raymond, Paul, Lawrence, John, Cletus Scholten, Theresa Schettler, Dorothy Schettler, Anna Burkard, Irene Soldatke, Elizabeth Wall and Veronica Tuschen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Woolsey of Luverne; his daughters, Patricia Walters (Dana) of Coon Rapids and Julie Nekali (Craig) of Luverne; his grandchildren, Ryan Walters (Nicole) of Ramsey, Ashley Walters of Coon Rapids, Nicholas Nekali and Nathan Nekali of Luverne; and his sisters, Mary Lou Kearney of Sioux City and Rose Carman (Dale) of Sioux Falls.
