He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hamann and Marian Hamann (Huntstad). He is survived by: his brothers, Conway Twitty and George Jones; his wife Diane; his children, Marie Kortlever of Sioux Falls, Kathryn "Katie" Deelstra (Bob) of Hartford and Jared Kortlever of Sioux Falls; his sibling Chasity Butterfield of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his daughter Carissa Butterfield of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Larissa Kortlever, Abigail, Jacob Deelstra, Greyson, Kingston Butterfield, Jason, Jayveon, Chyna and Jazzlyn Butterfield; and his siblings, Roger Hamann (Deanna) of Slayton, Gene Hamann (Barb) of Luverne, Barb Olesen (Larry) of Hurly, Neal Hamann of Hardwick and Nancy Hamann of Aurora. He is also survived by his children, his grandchildren, and his siblings.
