He is survived by: his wife Pat Maranell; his son Mark Maranell (Heidi) of Howards Grove, WI; his grandchildren, Eden, Carter and Delaney Maranell; and his siblings, Arlen Maranell (Susan) of Orange City, IA and Carol Preston (Dennis) of Donna, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
