It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher J. Smook (Luverne, Minnesota), who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Smook; and his uncles, Curtis, Myron Smook and Junior McCollum. He is survived by: his mother Arlene Smook (McCollum) of Luverne; his children, Charlee Donth, Otto and Madi; his wife Lexy; his parents-in-law, Dean and DJ Luethje of Luverne; his sisters, Sarah Paul (Andy), Kacee Knap (Joey) of Luverne and Kelli Swenson (Zach) of Garretson; and his nieces and nephews, Connor, Brayden, Brooklyn, Oliver, Hadley, Chloe, Brantley, Miley, Jason, Ford and Cole. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in laws; aunts and uncles; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
