Brad Gorter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2025, at the age of 54, Brad Gorter of Luverne, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gorter and Geraldine Gorter (Hoff); his father-in-law Jack Carstensen; his sisters, GleAnn Greve and Shar Drew; and his brother-in-law Dave Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Gorter of Pipestone, Minnesota; his children, Austin Richardson (Maranda) of Pipestone, Cassie Bucher (AJ) of Pipestone, Brandon Gorter of Pipestone and Hayden Gorter of Pipestone; his mother-in-law Carol Carstensen of Pipestone; his siblings, Lynn Carr of Loveland, Gary Gorter of Pipestone, John Gorter of Holland, Kevin Gorter (Lisa) of Pipestone, Del Gorter (Reggie) of Pipestone and Doug Gorter (Tammy) of Pipestone; his brother-in-law Dave Greve (Linda) of Holland; his grandchildren, Lochlan Bucher and Araya Richardson; and also, Jack and Carol.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Pipestone (301 2nd Ave SE, Pipestone, MN 56164). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Old Woodlawn Cemetery (676 116th St, Pipestone, MN 56164).
