It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Mae Opitz of Luverne, Minnesota, born in Beardsley, Minnesota, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Hills and Hazel Hills (Doschadis); her husband Elwood Opitz; her great grandchild Hayden Benson; her siblings, Donald Hills (Sally), Dorothy O'Leary (Robert), Robert Hills, Joyce Bogenreif (Ronald), John Hills (Doralie), Kathleen Sykora and Kenneth Hills (Bitsy); and her brothers-in-law, Willie Deutch, Willie Ewert and Jim Henessey.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Manley (Marty), Vickie Kramer, Cindy Van Dorsten (Marlo), Carrie Zebedee (Mike), Mary Opitz (Jason Sandmann), Mark Opitz (Annie) and Laura Loosbrock (Doug); her siblings, Arlene Deutsch, Mary Ewert, Virginia Henessey, Patricia Stoick (John), Linda Sibson, Carol Palmer (Dean), Larry Hills and Bonnie Hendricks (Jerry); and her siblings-in-law, Dale Sykora and Jennie Hills. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
