He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Rust and Grayce Rust (Little); his siblings, Pat Roberts and Keith Rust; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Roberts and Ed Woodley.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Rust; his sons, Dwight Rust (Jill) of Mitchell, Kraig Rust (Pat) of Magnolia, Jon Rust (Linda) of Rock Rapids and Jeff Rust (Page) of Omaha, Nebraska; his siblings, Donald Rust (Arliss) of Buffalo, Colleen Cragoe (Gene) of Luverne and Jeanne Woodley of Luverne; his sister-in-law Karen Rust; and his friend Gary Hassebroek (Marcene). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
