Laura Ann Jirik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Ann Jirik of Lonsdale, Minnesota, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bohumil Simon and Ludmilla Simon (Kalina); her husband Preceding; her siblings, Sylvia Rezac, Ray, Albert, Robert and Milton; and her daughter-in-law Debbie (Lisa).
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas A. Jirik; her children, Tom (Jan), Lou (Renee), Patty Reher (John), Greg (Kathy), Cheryl and Lauren; her siblings, Irene Scheffler and Gene Simon (Ceil); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Raney and Janet Simon. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the White Funeral Home (201 5th Ave NW, Lonsdale, MN 55046). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (202 SE Alabama St, Lonsdale, MN 55046).
Memorials may be directed to Holy Cross School, Webster, MN or donors choice in lieu of flowers.
