He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Peterson and Lillian Peterson (Thiffaut); and his siblings, Sharon Totten (Glen) and Alan Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Judy David; his daughters, Angie Lisowski and Wendy Peterson (Dustin); his grandchildren, Bryce (Carly), Jarrett "Bear", Isabelle and Daxton; and his brother Kent Peterson (Donna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
