He was predeceased by: his parents, John McClune and Esther McClune (Spitzack); and his brothers, Pat and Harry. He is survived by: his wife Alice O'Neil of Lonsdale; his children, Richard of Faribault, Dale (Beth) of Northfield and Carol Vosejpka (Arnie) of Lonsdale; and his brothers, Tom of Le Sueur and Jerry (Connie) of Waseca. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
As the COVID pandemic stretched on, the care center would help him with Zoom so he could communicate with his family over the computer.
