He was predeceased by: his wife Alda Godfrey (Hare); his parents, Maurice Godfrey and Grace Godfrey (Slater); and his siblings, Jim, George, Raymond, Evelyn, Maude and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann, Duane Godfrey (Deb) of Longville and Kendra Voss (Steve) of Hannibal; and his sister Grace Daniels (Godfrey). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
