He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Lackmann and Lavinia K. Lackmann (Johnson); his wife LaVonne A. Scheve; his sister Carol LeMay; and his grandson Joshua Allen Lackmann-Kise.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Karpinski (Dan) of Sauk Rapids, Jerry (Tina Foote) of Browerville and John of Long Prairie; his brothers, Kenneth (Grace) of Prior Lake and Richard "Dick" (Deanna) of Long Prairie; his grandchildren, Micah Nelson and Amber Lackmann-Kise; and also, Sheryl, Jerry and John. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
