He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brinkman and Ludwina Brinkman (Pundsack); and his siblings, Joe, Celest, Eugene, Ronald, Loretta Peifer and Eileen Sprenger.
He is survived by: his wife Helene Stetler; his children, Matthew Brinkman of Watford City, ND and Jessica Graham of Houston, TX; his sisters, Annamae Layton of Silverton, OR and Gloria Linn (Jim) of Sauk Centre; his daughters, Dixie and Daisy; and also, Alissa Kulas (Matt) of Wittenberg, WI, Amanda Brockhouse (Tim) of Shakopee and Aaron Brinkmann (Addy) of Alexandria. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
