Mavis M. Leagjeld Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis M. Leagjeld of Long Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Petrie and Lydia Petrie (Stephan); her husband Thomas Leagjeld; her grandson Timothy Leagjeld; and her siblings, Virgil, Raymond, Willard, Loren, Merle Petrie and Mary Jane Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Leagjeld (Joe Ahrens) of Carlos, Teresa Hayes (Curt Larson) of Alexandria, Gail Leagjeld (Mike Kayala) of Little Falls, Lisa Warner (Dan) of Long Prairie and Brian Leagjeld (Jessica Fuchs) of Cold Spring; and her siblings, Betty Pesta, Lucille Mazo and Al Petrie. She is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Twelve years later she retired so that she was able to take care of Tom who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2012.
