With heavy hearts, we announce the death of MaryJane Lorraine Kahlert of Long Prairie, Minnesota, born in Webster, South Dakota, who passed away on July 30, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gorghuber and Agnes Gorghuber (Hengemhle); her husband Richard; her siblings, Robert (Helen), Jerome (Theresa), Marcella Robertson-Powers, Bernice Griep (Otto) and Beatrice Cuchna (Charles); and her son-in-law Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Marilyn) of Osakis, Tom (Denise) of Browerville, Marcia Laine (Rick) of Osakis, Beth Ross (Stephen) of Long Prairie and Joan Hampson of Ironton; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Kahlert (Alisa Tollin) of Alexandria, Riley Laine (Joe Ostendorf) of Sauk Centre, Trevor Laine (Kayla) of Mobridge, SD and Kelsey Ross of Long Prairie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Todd County Council on Aging, Senior Echo or Christ the King Choir.
