He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome "Jerry" Ostendorf and Eldoris Ostendorf (Kamphenkel) of Long Prairie; and his sister Jane Browen. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Wall; his children, Jeremy Ostendorf and Bridget McLeran (Shawn); his granddaughters, Zoey and Samantha McLeran; his siblings, Cindy Katterhagen (Lyle), John Ostendorf, Steve Ostendorf (Kristi) and Reggie Browen; his parents-in-law, Rich and Marge Wall; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Rausch (Al), Carla Stein (Chuck), Donny Wall (Mickey) and Jaime Wall (Deb).

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
