He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton and Elizabeth; his wife Lila M. Spieker; his sons, Charles and Raymond; and his siblings, Alvin, Francis, Alroy, Wilfred, Genevieve Schrenk and Evelyn Carstensen.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Claseman (Doreen), Mary Claseman (Tom Letsch), Gloria Miller (Gordon), Bryan Claseman (Barbara), Dorothy Briscoe (Robert), Deloris Peyton (Danny) and Rose Thunder (Kenneth); his daughter-in-law Donna Claseman; his siblings, Alois Clasemann and Elizabeth Tinker; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Weiland (William) and Roselyn Stadtherr (LaVerne). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic School.
