Hollis Bishop Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hollis Bishop of Long Prairie, Minnesota, born in Bigfork, Minnesota, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Bishop and Mildred Bishop (Wright); his brother Jesse Lyle Bishop; and his daughters, Sara, Elizabeth and Andrea Bishop.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Bishop; his son Dave; his daughter-in-law Amber Bishop; his grandchildren, Bennett, Millie, Maggie Bishop, PJ, Katie and Annie Svendsen; his great grandchild James Ryan Fox; his siblings, Don Bishop, Ron Bishop and Jean Hamlin; and also, Lou and Mary Svendsen. He is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been created in Reverend Bishop's honor to provide support for youth programming to some of the churches he served.
