She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Petron and Sophie Petron (Neubauer); her husband Kenneth Shinabarger; her children, Tom Shinabarger and Loann Barber (Shinabarger); her daughter-in-law Linda Shinabarger; her siblings, Frank Petron, Jim Petron and Mary Ann Tepley; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Sadlo, Ray Borchert, Louis Tepley and Carol Petron.
She is survived by: her son Randy Shinabarger; her daughter-in-law Virginia Shinabarger; her grandchildren, Erika Thurman (Jason), Shannon Paduano (Greg), Rae Shinabarger, Jennifer Larsen, Alicia Bistodeau, Terry Kisner (Jeremy), Jennifer Bengtson and Jay Larson; and her sisters, Helen Bruder (Elmer), Lorraine Sadlo, Joan Stach (Richard), Delores Borchert and Rose Kortuem. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Catholic Church of Long Prairie.
