With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane P Laumeyer of Long Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Laumeyer, and Crescencia Laumeyer, Jr. (Spieker); and his siblings, Lawrence, Gustie Gmeiner, Ayleen Ruzicka, Haldina Kurpiers, Mildred Kamphenkel and Devona Kurpiers.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Buelow; his sons, David of Denver, CO, Dan (Deb) of Long Prairie and Dennis (Jennifer) of Benson, MN; his brother Lloyd of Long Prairie; his grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Matthew Laumeyer and Kelly Robinson (Parker); and his great grandchildren, Mila and Sophie.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation and the American Heart Association.
