He is survived by: his sons, Robert Monte of Chisholm, MN, James Monte (Mary) of Little Falls, MN and Richard Monte (Tami) of Babbitt, MN; and his sister Marilyn Paffel of Spooner, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
