He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Heidemann and Elva Heidemann (Minke); his sister Jeanette; his great grandchild Loki; and his former wife Elaine Ida Newmann.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn Stoner (Keith) of Little Falls, Brian Heidemann (Bobbie) of Wadena, Judy Selander (Kyle) of New York Mills and Carol Bernu (Brandon) of New York Mills. He is also survived by his family and friends.
