Leona I. Soltis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona I. Soltis (Little Falls, Minnesota), born in Swanville, Minnesota, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Petersen (Wolters) and Philip Petersen; her husband Wallace; her sons, Kelly and Jack Soltis; and her siblings, George, Otto, Jim Petersen and Carol Petersen.
She is survived by: her children, Ley Soltis (Lea), Philip Soltis (Yoshiko), Joey Soltis (Joan) and Lois Blythe (Ike); her daughters-in-law, Elena Soltis and Jan Greniger; her sisters, Selma Glende and Myrna Schrupp (Sonny); her siblings-in-law, Loretta, Joan Petersen, Marlene, Helen Soltis, Bonnie Bieniek (Victor), Danny Soltis (Irene), Donny Soltis (Karen) and Terry Soltis (Doli); and her grandchildren, Alvin Soltis (Robin), Julie Soltis (Tyrone Enriquez), Ryan Soltis (Amy), Valery Soltis (Derick Kenson), Peach Soltis (Mohammed Loraoui), Dr. Laura Emiko Soltis, Jack Soltis Jr. (Shelly), Jolene Soltis, Jenna Soltis, Jennifer Miller (Greg), Jessica Kemble (Jack), Jason Soltis (Victoria), Aaron Blythe, Kirstin Miller (Art), Karin Blythe (Darian Richardson) and Adam Blythe. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren.
In celebration of Leona's life, friends and family are invited to donate to some of her most passionate causes: Planned Parenthood, Freedom University, and Moapa Valley Senior Center.
