He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Benson and Anna Benson (Eisel); his wife Collette Benson; and his great grandchild Layne Diebel. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Wiersgalla (Rick), Rebecca Diebel (Paul), David Benson (Sheila), Jim Benson (Patty White) and Jerry Benson Jr.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
