She was predeceased by: her parents, August Axel and Frieda Axel (Koschnick); her husband Jerry Golombiecki; her son Scott Golombiecki; her great grandchild Audrey Welsh; her siblings, Amanda Fritz (Herman), Hertha Barton (Dick), Emma Hansen (Roy), Erna Dickmann (Walter), Frieda Kedrowski (Joseph), Walter Axel (Doris), Lawrence Axel and Donald Axel; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Barber and Gerada Axel.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Golombiecki of Alexandria, MN; her siblings, Esther "Ma" Barber of Swanville, MN and Rhienhold Axel of Sartell, MN; her sisters-in-law, Virginia Axel and Beatrice Golombiecki; her grandchildren, Laura Handy (Michael), Rachel Welsh (Jason), Preston Waldoch (Nicole), Gary J. Kostecka (Jenny) and Sophie Thompson (Erik); and her great grandchildren, Lola, Ava Handy, Sarah, Sadie Welsh, Samantha, Shane, Kelsey Waldoch, Lily, Michael Kostecka, Avery, Emmett and Reed Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are preferred to the Bethel Lutheran Building Fund in Memory of Edna Golombiecki.
