With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edes Hazel Gerwing of Little Falls, Minnesota, born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schmidt and Hazel Schmidt (Dumbeck); her husbands, Wladyslaw Napiorkowski (Walter) and Herbert Gerwing; her daughter Laura Napiorkowski; and her siblings, Delwin Schmidt, Avit Schmidt, Delbert Schmidt, Julia Zyvoloski and Bertille Kucera.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Armstrong, Gillian Napiorkowski and Walter Napiorkowski; her grandchildren, Megan Lund-Schmitz, Alexander Armstrong, Anastasia Manley and Isaac Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Jasper Schmitz, Alder Manley, Willow Manley and Maple Manley; and her brother Roger Schmidt.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service-Little Falls (900 1st St SE, Little Falls, MN 56345). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. She was active with Christian Mothers, Healing Light Prayer Group, senior citizens and RSVP volunteers.
