He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor M. Hiemenz and Josephine Irene Hiemenz (Czech); and his sister Janet Grittner. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hiemenz of Little Falls; his children, Amy Haider (Andrew) of Cheyenne, OK, Marc Hiemenz of Coon Rapids and Allen Barney (Debbie); his siblings, Dennis Hiemenz (Margie) of Clearbrook, MN, Michael Hiemenz (Rhonda) of Washington, Karen Boser (Donnie) of Hillman, Joyce Ringwelski (Jim) of Little Falls, Linda Carlson (Don) of Royalton and Renee Retka (Bob) of Long Prairie; and his grandchildren, Anna Vrchota of Sauk Rapids, Bryce and Breanna Barney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (15550 MN-115, Little Falls, MN 56345).
