She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Jones and Hjordis Jones; her brothers, Gordon, Wallace, Don and Duane; her husband Benny Lee Shaffer; her children, Karen, Janet, LuAnn and Gary Shaffer of Litchfield, MN; and her grandchildren, Brian, Kim, Shelly, Andy, Grant, Jamie, Jessica and Justina. She was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren.
