He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pearson and Esther Pearson (Erickson); his wife Janet Johnson; his siblings, Carlton, Harriett and Leslie; and his great grandchild Peyton.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Pearson (Connie) of Grove City, MN, Neil Pearson (Sheila) of Grove City, MN, Lee Pearson (Karen) of Atwater, MN, Kim Ries (Michael) of Minnetonka, MN and Nancy Pearson (Dan Platt) of Hopkins, MN; his grandchildren, Joy Lere (Philip), Joshua Pearson (Sierra), Mitchell Pearson (Katie Lehmann), Kayla Brune (Lance), Matthew Pearson (Brianna), Kjersten Pearson, Heather Sage (Forest), Nicole Bergen (Sean), Andrew Pearson (Jenni), Josephine Ries, Alexandra Ries, Lily Platt and Briette Platt; and his brother Donald. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
