He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mortensen and Evelyn Mortensen of Darwin, MN.; his wife Arlene; and his siblings, Alyce, Edith, Clifford, Carroll and Darryl.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Mortenson (Norma) of Sherrills Ford, NC and Connie Rae Weis (Wayne) of Stoughton, WI; and his siblings, Lloyd, Richard, James, Lowell and Mary. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
