He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nygaard and Mary Nygaard (Dagmar); his wife Mary Ellen Nygaard; and his siblings, Lois White of Helen Mayer, Robert Nygaard and Donald Nygaard.
He is survived by: his daughter Norma Jean Hutton (David Hodgson) of Maple Grove, MN; his brother Harold Nygaard of Litchfield, MN; his grandchildren, Joshua Hutton of Maple Grove, MN and Katie Allen (Carl) of Elk River, MN; and his great grandchildren, Haley Jean Allen of Maxwell Allen and Many.
