He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Schmidt; his wife Barb of Litchfield, MN; his children, Karl Nelson (Karin) of Lidköping, Sweden, Sara Dollerschell (Dan) of Litchfield, MN and Amy Thostenson (Paul) of Dassel, MN; his grandchildren, Erik Nelson, Elsa Nelson, Anna Kalkbrenner (Andrew), Cal Dollerschell, Sam Dollerschell (Abby), Erin Dollerschell, Marit Witucki (Jase) and Peder Thostenson; and his sister-in-law Diane Nelson.
