She was predeceased by: her parents, John Potter and Reca Potter (Vogelpohl); her husband Henry Mattsfield; her siblings, Victor, Kenneth, Calvin, Aaron and Gilda; and her siblings-in-law, Bess Potter (Victor), Luverna Potter (Kenneth), Marian Potter (Calvin), Alyce (Potter), Stankey (Aaron) and Vernon Harmann (Gilda).
She is survived by: her children, Levi, Stella of McLeod County, Abel and Kara West; her grandchild Avry of Ellsworth Township; and her close friend Scrabble (Evelyn Obar). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
