She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor LaPlante and Rose LaPlante (Vacek); and her siblings, Austin LaPlante, James LaPlante, Harold LaPlante, Margaret Amos and Rita Levinski.
She is survived by: her husband Weston Edwards; her sons, Weston Edwards (Mike), Jon Edwards and Joel Edwards; her granddaughters, Tori Heidt (Kyle) and Mari Gonzalez (Vlad); her brother Dale LaPlante (Helen); and her sister-in-law Mary Lou LaPlante. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In luau of flowers donations are preferred to be given to the Darwin Community Legacy Foundation.
