He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Nurmi and Elsie Nurmi (Holm); and his sister Rose Anne Howe. He is survived by: his wife Nita Jean Nurmi of Litchfield, MN; his children, Jason Nurmi of Cottonwood, MN and Rebecca Brovitch (Jason) of Sartell, MN; and his grandchildren, Nathan Nurmi, Nicholas Nurmi and Autumn Brovitch. He is also survived by siblings and many extended family.
