Madsen of Litchfield, Minnesota, born in Two Harbors, Minnesota, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Madsen; his brother David; his grandchild Jaden Madsen; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Kathryn Carlson; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Muldowney and Patricia Gilbertson.

He is survived by: his mother Shirley Madsen (Anderson) of Redwood Falls, MN; his wife Gayle Madsen of Litchfield, MN; his children, Steve Madsen (Nancy) of Litchfield, MN, Chris Madsen (Jen) of Darwin, MN and Karl Madsen (Lauretta) of Wadena, MN; his grandchildren, Sarah Smith (Jeremy), Jake Madsen (Lexi), Josh Madsen, Kaylee Madsen, Nicole Madsen, Justine Madsen, Dylan Madsen, Stephanie Trehus, Cheyenne Madsen (Eric), Alex Madsen (Jenna), Zachary Madsen, Taylor Madsen and Eli Madsen (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Harlen, Calvin, Colton, Melody and Jack; and his siblings, Bill Madsen (Carol) of Little Falls, MN, Don Madsen (Jane) of Redwood Falls, MN, Randy Madsen (Cindy) of Pilleger, MN, Kevin Madsen (Judy) of Winthrop, MN, Sheila Johnson (Steve) of St. Cloud, MN and Joel Madsen of Brainerd, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
