She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Hukriede and Alma Hukriede (Ludtke); her former husband Glenn Smith of Greenleaf Township; her siblings, Viola Pratt, Gordon, Vernon, Russell, Ronald and Arthur; her daughter-in-law Pat Smith; and her stepgranddaughter Tina Garsid.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Neumann of Litchfield; her sons, Gary Smith of Litchfield and Gale Smith (Darlene) of Litchfield; and her brother Wayne Hukriede (Liz) of Minneapolis. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 5 step-great grandchildren and 2 step-great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
