With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Groenewold of Lismore, Minnesota, who passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Groenewold and Ella Groenewold (Hilfers); his wife Delores Drost; and his brother Ronald Groenewold. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Minton (Jeff) of Estherville and Charlene Meyeraan (Mike) of Hitterdal, Minnesota.; his grandchildren, Dustin Wagley (Cassie) of Jackson, Amanda Harris (Brent) of Lake Park, Carlee Moe (Steve) of Osage, Trevor Meyeraan (Sam) of Pelican Rapids and Tyler Meyeraan (MacKensie) of Lake Park, Minnesota.; his great grandchildren, Ella, Maddie, Hudson, Lidia and Ivy; his sister Marlene Rabenberg (Don) of Wilmont; his parents-in-law, Sharon Wessels (Dennis) of Balaton, Marcia VanRuler (Harvey) of Rushmore, Linda Verdoorn (Steve) of Mooresville, NC, Garry Drost (Gin) of Rushmore, Verlis Drost of Rushmore and Lisa Drost (Duane) of Sibley; and his brother-in-law Larry Rasmussen (Twyla) of Phoenix. He is also survived by his girls, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
