He is survived by: his wife Barbara Novotny (Menshek); his sons, Mark (Billie Kathryn Frogner), Michael (Laura Kadlac) and Matthew Novotny (Amy Kostel); his grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan, Thomas, Ethan (Rylie Novotny), Carley (Degneau), Alex Merrill and Jacob Degneau; and his great grandchild Andrew James "A. J." Merrill.
