She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary MD and Ralph Simonton Jr. MD. She is survived by: her siblings, Anne Marlin RN and Ralph Simonton; her close friend Mike Basara MD; her stepdaughter Gina Bruns (Chad); and her stepgrandchildren, Cameron and Greyson.
